Through my photography I create imagery at the intersection of fantasy and reality. With the use of focus and digital manipulation the scenes I photograph are simplified, enhancing the sense of beauty and perfection embodied in the places I photograph as well as creating a sense of ambiguity in both scale and place. Having grown up in the southwest, I feel interested in creating imagery about the specificity and constructed nature of the southwestern suburban landscape.
